Whitten is pleased with the effort the Kats displayed in practice but is still concerned with the situaton they have at the WR position. Although, with Smith moving to the wideout position and the addition of a few transfers he believes that the Kats will be ok. He is confident in the team and is looking for another great season from the Bearkats.

In the article, Whitten refers to the possibility of WR transfers potentially possessing the ability to step up, but doesn't expand on specifically who.

The guy has me curious as to who he is referring to.

He's the coach and he knows what's going on his program. Didn't we ink some Jr College WRs outside of Vitan Moore from Navarro?

We got that kid from UH, Mailion Collins I think is hi name? Kind of a Fuller, Cooper mold. Small guy, but quick. I thought we picked up one more JC transfer as well.
