The CAA Curse

It used to be in the A10 you'd never want to be predicted preseason to win the league...now a new curse, players named to the preseason all conference team.

Richmond has 4 plays who are preseason all conferece..none will play against Towson.

Tim Silver (LT- Sr) - Injured knee against Vanderbilt & lost for the season
Arman Shields (WR - Sr) - Injured knee against Northeastern & out for a month or more (may come back in another 2 weeks)
Sherman Logan (DE - Sr) - Broken foot against UNH & lost for season
David Horton (DB - So) - Injured Shoulder against UNH & out for 3-4 weeks

Outside of Richmond
JMU - Eugene Holloman - out for season

UMass' All-CAA TE Brad Listorti has a back injury and has not played a down for us this season. He may return for Villanova.

UD lost a few guys in preseason.. icluding Wisconsin transfer RB.. Jerry Butler.. who would have been Cuff's backup. The injury bug really hit UD hard in '05 & '06.. hopefully it will avoid Newark this year. xprayx

We didn't lose any all-conference players, we instead lost all of our depth on the lines. Yay.
