The University at Albany baseball team won its series opener against Hartford in impressive fashion. A six-run opening inning set the stage on Friday, as the Great Danes defeated the Hawks 19-8. Johnny Marti led UAlbany's offense with a team-high five RBIs, closely followed by Will Binder and Michael Whalen who both drove in four runs. Jason Bottari broke UAlbany's single-season stolen base record with his 29th steal of the year.
