Portland State RB Keenan Harpole charged with murder

Harpole surrendered to police at his family home in Bend, OR and was charged with the death of fellow PSU student Amara Marluke.

Harpole was on the team as a redshirt last season, but did not participate in spring football activities this past spring.

The PSU football team has emphasized that Harpole was not a member of the team since the end of last season. PSU President Percy also referred to Harpole as "a former football player".
