SAN DIEGO, Calif. —The No. 38 ranked Columbia Women's Tennis team dropped a close 4-3 decision to host and No. 40 ranked San Diego Friday afternoon at San Diego's Hogan Center. The loss drops Columbia to 10-5 on the year as it opens Ivy League competition next Saturday. San Diego improves to 9-3 on the year.
