Mars Hill @ WCU - I'll go with 56-7 in favor of the Cats!!!

Char. Southern @ Citadel - The upstart CSU gives a better game than expected, but Citadel emerges 14-13.

GSU @ Northeastern - The Eagles get revenge for Gen Sherman. 42-17.

Georgetown @ Wofford - Wofford's offense has so many questions that I don't even know where to begin... Terriers 14-3.

Tenn. Tech. @ UTC - It will take awhile for all those defensive transfer to adapt to UTC. Tenn Tech 35 UTC 31

CCU @ Elon - Chants run away with their first win against a team from an autobid conference. 28-0.

ASU @ EKU - Call me a Homer (mmm...Beer), but I believe the defense will actually be better this year and the loss of Davon will actually be a benefit since Richie will have to spread it around more. Apps 38 EKU 24

GSU 31 Northeastern 24 (I see this one as closer than many think. The jury is still out on our new qb) I think we (GSU) have better athletes but mistakes and turnovers can cost games. I am anxious to see if our offense can move the ball without turning it over.

Wofford 28 Georgetown(KY) 10 - I'll be honest: I don't know a thing about this G'town team, but I doubt this one will be close

Coastal Carolina 24 Elon 21 - This game may tell us a lot about CCU

TERRIBLE opening game for the Catamounts against Mars Hill. Got the win, but didn't get it until after the start of the 4th quarter. Seems like a number of teams started off really slow in the first half.
