No kidding! I can see the posts already... "Now that is what a real college football program looks like! I wish we could play in such a great atmoshpere against that kind of competition every year! Too bad the outcome wasn't what we wanted but it was great to even be on the same field as those Mountaineers and to witness their amazing fans cheering them on so proudly!"... xsmiley_wix

Are there any NAU fans that are still on here? Had some questions about how your tailgating works...looks like lot P62 is the best option for non season ticket holders?

Also curious how well attended your Family Weekend game is usually attended? Illinois State is making the trip out and we have some groups of people in Arizona that will be meeting up. Any info is appreciated.

Appreciate the NAU notification! I can't take all the thread bump credit, I was looking for the NAU fan forum and the AGS thread was a Google option I eventually found.

It would be - I know all the scenic spots, national parks, monuments, restaurants, etc.

Plus, not a knuckledragger from north dakota

I haven't been over to NAU's board to have a conversation with myself in 5 months.

To my knowledge, the parking lot on the east side of the Skydome is set aside for away fans. Tailgating for NAU games has improved from back in the day but it isn't on the level of NDSU, Montana State or U of Montana games.

The family weekend game has sold out the last few years. Buy your tickets ahead of time, BirdFan4Life. I don't live up there anymore but I'm familiar with the town if questions come up regarding bars, restaurants, sights and local amenities.
