Two things:

-From what I could tell it looked like they were using acutal HBCU schools. Is this true?
-Is November possibly a little late to be releasing a college football game?

Other than that, this seems like a cool idea that could capitalize on gameday atmosphere better than EA Sports does.

Yes, there are about 40 schools being used including SWAC and some MEAC schools.

Not much info out on the game...

My big questions are:

a) What are you playing for? Conference title? HBCU title?
b) What stadiums are in the game?

The real HBCU stadiums are used in this game, along with the stadiums where the "Classic" games are played.

You'll be playing for the conference title and a Black College football National Championship. So far, Morgan State is the only school that I know of the decided not to participate. EA had promised the HBCUs that they would do this game years ago, but it never happened. The even went back to the HBCU schools after getting word that this game was really comming out and tried to get the HBCUs to pull out.xsmhx The SIAC, CIAA, SWAC, and most MEAC teams, along Tennessee State, and the others.

The HBCU National title which was won by North Carolina Central in 2006, shared by Grambling State and Hampton in 2005.

There is no real title game.. It's just a title given to the best team among those schools in those few conferences.

Which is wrong!xlolx Tennessee State is in the OVC, NCCU, Savannah State is idependent, Langston and Lincoln dont belong to a conference either, Bluefield State and West Virginia State compete in the (WVIA) - West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference in D2, Concordia is NAIA, along with Texas College, Central State is a d2 independent.

Of course, if the Heritage Bowl came back in a SWAC vs MEAC format for the title as some would prefer, the schools you just listed above would not get a fighting chance to even play for the HBCU "National" title...
