The Lumberjacks face Division II opponent Adams State. State has the best defense in all of Division II, and will test the Lumberjacks on offense in the opener. On defense, NAU will need to get penetration on their line and get to their QB on a regular basis.
I don't see this game as being especially close. Although Montana State "only" won 19-0 last year, I see the Lumberjacks doubling that score while giving up about 10 points.
