Just got in from the game. I want to thank all for the support and interest in the Rams today. It was an emotionally draining game so I'm pretty beat right now. First let me say that having served in the Army that I very much enjoyed the entire West Point experience; hats off to those young men and women cadets.

Some questionable play calls by Stowers but I won't get into that because I'd rather credit my team for playing their hearts out and taking Army down to the wire. All in all a great day and a great game. A URI win would have really done it all for me but I'll walk away from this one with a good taste in my mouth.

Oh BTW, you guys should have heard the Army radio announcers cracking on FCS at the beginning of the game. They kept making a point to mention that FCS is a "sub division of FBS". I noticed as the 4th quarter went into OT that there was no more mention of this.

Nice game by URI. Army always tough at Michie. I think it bodes well for the remainder of URI's season.

I was also at the game. Thanks to all on the board for the support. Like Cobblestone, I could sit here and itemize my frustration with the play calling, but will take the high road and just credit our kids for a tremendous effort.

I'll save my venomous tirade for another time about settling for a FG once you're in range and not making any effort to get in the endzone. URI has done it in each of our first two games at times in which we could have taken over the game with a TD.

Stowers should heed his own statement, "finish what we start", seems he has no confidence in his teams ability to get in the end zone. 1st and goal, 2nd a goal, 3rd and goal, 4th and goal. game over.oh yea nice kick, school of chokes.

Somebody on GoHens asked if URI would be able to pass on UD and my reply was... 'maybe, but we'll never know'... if you guys didn't pass much against Army, you're certainly not going to pass against anyone.

I feel your guys pain about 1st and goal and running the same play over and over, a little in the opposite though... at JMU in 2004 the Dukes couldn't stop Omar Cuff so with 1st and goal to win the game we line up empty backfield and pass incomplete four times. xbawlingx
