2021 AGS PLAYOFF PICK'EM CONTEST (QF/SF/F)

This week you will be picking not just the quarterfinal round, but also the semis and championship game. This adds a little more excitement to the way the standings play out and adds just a little bit of a bracket element back into the contest. Plus, people disappear like crazy each new week of playoff contests like this, so this will combat that issue. So, you will pick the quarterfinal games, semifinals, and final. Make sure to pick from teams you had winning in previous rounds. Any errors will be marked as incorrect if they are not corrected before the deadline.

(Note, there is a game Friday night, so the deadline is before that first kickoff and not the usual Saturday morning deadline.)

Scoring will progress each round:
Quarterfinals - base score of 20 for each correct pick
Semis - 30
Championship - 40

I only changed teams (not score margins), and the changed teams were simply those that filled in the places of the teams I lost in the challenge. I wish my bracket had been that accurate, but alas, it was not meant to be.

The final standings are in. Heading into the championship game it was guaranteed the victor was going to be a Bobcat fan. MSUBobcat and Wapiti both rose from the ashes after finishing in 38th and 42nd place respectively after round one. They went perfect leading up to the championship game. MSUBobcat had NDSU winning and Wapiti had the Cats. With NDSU taking down the title, MSUBobcat is our champion. Swaghook put up a valiant effort to try to make up some points, but finished just 3 points behind the champ. Bonus self-promoting shoutout to yours truly, who correctly picked NDSU to win by exactly 28 points in the final. Granted, I had them playing Villanova, but that's why I finished down in 25th place, haha.

Went with my exact bracket and scores (with only substitutions of teams that took out my predicted winners), so I am pretty pleased with where I sit. Congratulations to MSUBobcat...I am sure you would rather have enjoyed the actual trophy from Frisco, but this is at least some consolation. Had a blast with the MSU fans down there. Looking forward to next year.

Well I found someone to take their place at the bottom of the list having lead after week 1 and moving down to 41 by the time all the chips were counted up.
Oh well someone had to be the rabbit in this race.
