When North Dakota took the ice prior to Friday night's game at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center, two players ran into each other and both fell to the ice. Little did the seventh-ranked Fighting Hawks know, that was an omen to how the rest of the evening was going to go, as No. 5 St. Cloud State exploded for eight goals in an 8-1 victory over UND in the series opener.
