Critical game for the Wildcats on Saturday - if they beat UD in the Battle of the Blue, they probably are a top 8 playoffs seed, get a first round bye, and host a second round home game at Villanova Stadium on Saturday 12/4 (which coincidentally would probably be part of a basketball/football doubleheader at VU that day; Villanova basketball is at home against Big Five rival St. Joe's in the Holy War at 12 PM on 12/4). If Villanova loses, while they'd almost definitely still make the playoffs they probably wouldn't get a bye and it is very possible they would need to play on the road in the first round due to (IMO) a probable low host bid due to likely low attendance on Thanksgiving weekend.

Yeah I was rather frustrated writing Maine in… but thinking logically, worst UNH team in 20 years easily. Playing worse every game, third string QB making his first start, wasn’t that hard from an outsider point of view. Congrats though, I have a feeling we will be watching just JMU and Nova in the playoffs next week. The whole conference cannibalized itself this year.
