FRISCO - The Southland Conference announced Thursday the addition of another Texas State football game which will be broadcast by Fox Sports Net Southwest this season. The Bobcats' season finale against Sam Houston State is being moved to Thursday, Nov. 15 and will be broadcast by the network.

Kickoff for the Nov. 15 game is being moved to 7 p.m.

The mid-November game will mark the 84th meeting between longtime rivals Sam Houston State and Texas State. The two teams have played one another every year since 1946.

Earlier this week the Southland announced the Bobcats' early October game against Central Arkansas was being moved to Thursday, Oct. 11 and will also be broadcast by FSN Southwest.

Texas State will also play two games which will be a part of the league's new video streaming effort, SOUTHLAND.TV.

Both the Bobcats' Southland Conference opener against McNeese State Oct. 16 and the squad's home game Oct. 20 against Stephen F. Austin will be apart of the package.

Glad to hear the game was picked up. Trying to figure out tonight if Southland.TV is the way to go. Watching it now and it looks pretty solid right now, but there's going to be plenty of SLC football with this package in place to go around...
