Might as well give some kudos to a former Furman greatxthumbsupx

SportSouth today announced that former NFL coach Sam Wyche will serve as color analyst for all six Southern Conference football games scheduled to be televised by the network during the 2007 season. Wyche played at Furman before moving on to the NFL ranks. Wyche, former Super Bowl player and coach and inventor of the famed “No Huddle” offense, joins play-by-play announcer Tom Werme in the broadcast booth. Werme, a Charlotte-based broadcaster who has announced Southern Conference events for the past two years, will be the lead announcer for Southern Conference football, basketball and baseball telecasts on SportSouth this year.

good for Sam. I always thought he was a good man. When he grabbed the stadium microphone in Cincy when the bungles fans were throwing snowballs and said "quit acting like you are from cleveland".........

classic!
