Richmond has announced some further FBS games, and now it looks like between now and 2015 we have games for every year but one (2013). UR has Vandy in 2007 and 2015, Duke in 2009 and 2011, and UVA in 2008, 2010, 2012 and 2014. I would love to hear that UR had scheduled Wake Forest as the 2013 FBS opponent. Have other schools scheduled their FBS foes this far in advance??

Goddamn!!!!! FOUR dates with UVa???????

That just aint fair.

And a bonus of 2 Duke dates. You'd figure they wouldn't schedule you guys anymore but oh well....

I think we've got Duke in 2008, then UNC in 2009 and Maryland in 2011. (I could've switched the UNC and MD dates). That's all that's publically known as far as I know.

We're playing Air Force in the near future, I think 2013. Supposedly we're also playing TCU someday in the future too, but that could just be a rumor I misheard or something.

Off the top of my head, we have Virginia Tech next year, and South Carolina in '09 (the chickens finally answered our calls, 24 years after we stunned them). I'm pretty sure we have Florida sometime soon after that, and another bout with the tiggers of Clemscum.

Next year(Sept. 13th, 2008) you play Minnesota. NDSU has said to have a FBS team scheduled in 2008 but haven't released who it is yet. Rumors have been Wisconsin. In 2009, NDSU plays Iowa State.

To be fair, the first 2 UVA games were already contracted, as were the Duke games (3 game contract) and Vandy (3 game contract (we're 2 into it)). So just the 2014 & 2015 games were extra.

UVA is good money too. I think next year is $200k, increasing by $50k each game. Not bad for a one hour drive. I've heard that UR is willing to accept lower amounts than other schools which is one reason we're scheduled so far out in advance.

Question for Monmouth Fans. Was reading that Rutgers has yet to find a
an FCS opponent for next year. Any chance that Monmouth gets a game with them. Would be a reach, but hey Howard played Rutgers last year who i would believe is on par or below Monmouth's talent. Would be a neat NJ game, and a great schedule for Monmouth

Fordham has no FBS games scheduled but our alumni would like them to in '08 or '09. 16 starters return next year including solid 6'5 220 QB John Skelton (who will be a junior in '08). Earlier in the thread was mentioned Rutgers is looking for a FCS opponent. I nominate Fordham. Yes we'd get pushed around and be 28 point underdogs. However, we were PL Champs, figure to be better next year and are within an hour drive. It would be tremendous exposure for Fordham in the NYC tri-state area and we would get prob. get paid 250k.. lets make it happen.. If thats not feasible-- I hope we could get Army, UConn, Duke, type..

It Will NEVER Happen. There are too many people in chapel hill with too much money, and too big an ego to ever let the riffraff from ASU get a game with their almighty tarheels.

Can we get some ASU vs. UNC ESPN stories please! I guarentee we will come thru better than Delaware State! They haven't played us since we had our Undefeated, Unscored-On season.

The rumor is that McNeese will go to Chapel Hill in 2008. Hasn't been confirmed, but I keep hearing it. The rumor has sprouted legs.
