Dartmouth not showing up in ORV

they’ll get their chance vs ranked New Hampshire

Who on earth keeps voting for Jacksonville State? That team is not a top 25 team, and at this point, might not even be a top 50 team in the country, even though the talent says otherwise. Apparently the voters aren't seeing what we are. They were blown out by Kennesaw State Saturday 31-6. We'll see how the Lumberjacks handle the loss Saturday when they play Jacksonville State this weekend with hopefully better officiating than what we had in the game this past Saturday. That officiating in Houston was atrocious, and it was one of the worst displays of officiating I've ever watched.

They vote on reputation, not on-field results in some cases. Especially teams that have traditionally been consistently good.

Pretty sure I'd have them below Duquesne. Hell, they should be getting 0 votes, so they have no business being above anyone in the ORV (not to be implied that I agree with all ORV, however).

Three point loss to Kansas and a seven point loss to a very good Missouri State team. Their three wins were blowouts versus teams they were supposed to blow out. That is a Top 25 resume, in my mind.

I think the most under-ranked team is Missouri State at #15.

And the most over-ranked team might be Delaware at #9...besides JSU at #24 of course.

South Dakota should 100% be ranked...and in the top 20 for sure.

My bad. I meant to add Duquesne as yet another team the Jax State should be ranked below. Absolutely agree USD should be above them. Apologies for the ambiguous post.

No problem. JSU shouldn't be getting a top 50 vote. By transitive properties, Florida State....geez.

Among the least shocking news of the day the Coaches Poll is even worse with JSU still tied at #22.

If you recall I had asked (kind of serious kind of not) if JSU would still be ranked.

This is exactly the reason the STATS poll gets BLASTED.
