A rough first week of practice for the Mountain Hawks. Hope that's the extent of the tough injury news for the 'Hawks.

Yes, the open date on September 8 maybe the 'blessing in disguise'.. Before we were worried about needing the open date further into the season..McGowan's injury does not sound good. I'd be surprised if we see him before the end of September. This Walker kid may also give us some unexpected depth.

You may be right--all depends on the extent..luckily Pastore is very capable. He and McGowan were looked at as a 'two-headed monster'.
