EIU looks for a way past playoffs' first round

Eastern Illinois' football team has made it to the NCAA Division I-AA playoffs an impressive five times since 2000, and twice in the 1990s.
Not once in those years did the Panthers make it past the opening game.
Head coach Bob Spoo is entering his 21st season at Eastern, and he admits the team has struggled. But Spoo's just happy to be back on the sidelines this fall. ...
