RICHMOND, Va. – University of Richmond graduate attack Ryan Lanchbury (Burlington, Ontario) became the first Spider in program history to be drafted into the National Lacrosse League (NLL), selected with the No. 2 overall pick by the Georgia Swarm in the 2021 NLL Entry Draft Saturday evening. Lanchbury recently announced he will return for his sixth year (COVID-19 year) with the Spiders in 2022 and will be eligible to play for the Swarm starting in the 2022-23 season.
