true that, plus we have a couple good backups, we're about 3 deep, but apparently we don't feel that's enough with a 2-back set

Considering JMU's experiences in the past, I'm sure Mickey Matthews would like to have at least a decent three-deep. Consider that when JMU won the national title game, the number one rusher for the season was Raymond Hines, who was the third man on the depth chart but rushed for 1000 yards due to the injuries to Alvin Banks and Maurice Fenner.

As pointed out in the article, though, a lot of carries may be taken by Landers at QB.
