As the 2020-21 athletic season approached, no one knew just exactly how it would look. Fall seasons were being moved to the spring, non-conference games and tournaments were being canceled, and official start dates were being pushed back further and further. The COVID-19 pandemic had turned the college sports world on its head and athletic departments, coaches, and athletes had to roll with the punches.
