It is no secret that I am a UD and I-AA junkie. However, I also enjoy reading articles on other teams in their home team papers almost as much as reading about my Hens. I also think the info gleaned from these other teams' papers is helpful in my understanding of the upcoming game as somtimes my home team reporters reflect the agenda of their own paper and not the facts that need to be covered. (Say it ain't soooo :eek: :eek: )
With this in mind I have posted to the essential links columns the links to the Delaware hometown newspapers and radio stations that cover my team. For those of you who are playing UD, reading this may be fun. For those of you trying to learn more about UD or the A-10, feel free to indulge. Right now there is about an article a day in the first 2 links posted.
I would appreciate some links from other folks on this board regarding what they think are the best newspapers/radio about their respective teams. When reading the Delaware accounts keep in mind my number one rule of journalism and that is "any resemblance between the truth and the account written is purely accidental." :rolleyes:
I have included 2 links for radio that cover Delaware football. The last link is for the Delaware Student run radio station. Nothing else needs to be said as these guys are still learning. The 4th and 2nd to the last link is for WRDX the FM station that is Delaware's "flagship" station. I will offer my apologies up front for these guys. For any and all complaints please realize the main play by play guy is a Umass grad.
For the record, Our very own Radman has done a great job of finding these articles and posting them as they come. Recognizing that many are impatient and reading the web at 4 am I am trying to give those folks a head start.
