RICHMOND, Va. – Former Spider Brenden McGuigan (Austin, Texas) earned a roster spot on team Canada for the upcoming World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) Olympic Qualifiers in Florida May 31-June 5. McGuigan, currently a minor league pitcher in the Seattle Mariners organization, was a five-year letter winner at the University of Richmond, competing in his final season in 2019.
