William & Mary Athletics honored a record-high 231 student-athletes as winners of the Provost Award on Friday, after a strong year of academic achievement. The Provost Award program began in 2003-04, and recognizes athletes who maintain over a 3.5 GPA. The previous high number of award-winners came in 2018-19, when 163 student-athletes were honored.
