Dover, Del. (May 6, 2021) ---Former Delaware State baseball standout Garrett Lawson struck out the first three batters he faced in his professional debut this week. Lawson, now pitching for the Major League Baseball Los Angeles Angels' Single-A affiliate Inland Empire 66ers, struck out the side in the eighth inning of the 66ers' season opener against the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes. His stat line for the game included two innings pitched, four strikeouts, two hits, one run and a walk.
