The University of North Dakota field events shined on the first day of the South Dakota Challenge with the throws recording five top-five finishes, including a first and second-place showing in the men's javelin by Odin Nelson and Andrew Walter. A quartet of Fighting Hawks stand in the top-10 of their respective multi-events as well.
