The Grambling offense returns 10 of the 11 starters from last year plus gets the return of Bruce Eugene at qb. His two leading receivers from 2003 who did not play last year due to injuries are also back (although they are not pencilled in as starters due to some talented transfers and last year starters who also return). But it is the GSU defense that has me optimistic about this season. We have the personnel up front to be tough to run against. But until we show it on the field, we can only anticipate what we hope to be a good season...But I like our chances.

Mike you guys have some talent up there. Plenty of D-1 transfers.
DE Kevin Harbour (UCLA)
DT Moe Thompson (South Carolina)
DE John Scroggins (Minnesota)
LB Lucas Jackson (Arkansas)
CB Marques Binns (Oregon)
WR LaKeldric Bridges (Georgia Tech)
WR/TE Brandon Tobias (Wisconsin)
OL Donovan Davis (Mississippi State)
SS Robert Flagg (Michigan State)
WR Chico Mackey (Fresno State)

All those transfers won't mean anything come the last weekend in November. We got something waiting for y'all.

From what I'm hearing...Moe Thompson (DL), Marques Binns (CB), LaKeldrick Bridges (WR) will start. The rest are in the mix and may even move up the depth chart.

I don't follow Grambling football that closely but it seems like this will be Bruce Eugene's seventh or eighth year in college.
