FARGO, N.D.-- A fast start propelled top-seed North Dakota to a 5-1 win over American International College Friday evening at SCHEELS Arena in the semifinal round of the NCAA Midwest Regional. UND will now advance to Saturday's Regional final against Minnesota Duluth, who moved on in the bracket when Michigan was removed from the tournament due to COVID-19 protocols. North Dakota piled up four first-period goals on the way to the win.
