That's my feeling too, especially about our HC. Fall 2020 would have been year 3 for him (on, I think, a 3 year contract). 5-6 his first year, 1-11 his second year, doesn't look likely that we'll win any games this year (maybe against YSU if we get lucky). Under normal circumstances, I think he would be gone after the Fall 2020 season, but with all that's going on, I think he's likely to be given one more year to see if he can turn things around a bit.

Though Citadel is, of course, completely dominating in every phase of the game (just ask ‘em’), they trail WCU 21-14 with a minute to play.

WCU sacks ‘em on 4th and 11 and will VictoryForm this one out, winning over a completely dominant Citadel Team (just ask ‘em) 21-14.

Bearkats played a clean game, ref wasn't stopping every play on tickie-tack BS to throw off our momentum, defense swarmed Nicholls quarterback repeatedly forcing turnovers, Nicholls made dumb mistakes and Bearkats didn't, and our offense kept muscling past their defense to pick up big plays on what should have been 4 or 5 yard plays, and Nicholls started playing desperate, QB repeatedly overthrowing his receivers. Our Defense was good, but their poor performance helped too.

Schmid's two interceptions were on bonehead plays where he tried to force it and telegraphed where he was throwing the ball. A D-III player could have picked off those passes. Other than that he looked pretty legit in the pocket.

The MVFC is showing more strength from top to bottom than ever. The most hyped and over-rated conference in FCS football for the past 8 season has been the Southland. Before you post more hype, take a look at the play-off performance of Southland teams starting in 2013 and report the results back to us.
