This one is hard to know if it is "lack of faith" or just years of beatdowns driving this anti-NDSU pick. I kid, of course, but if the NDSU that played SIU shows up, this pick could be more right than I would like to admit.

Anyone know what the likelihood is of Coach Bubba to let off the gas if his team is up by a lot? We all know Coach Stig usually does, which is why our game with SDSU was 42-10 at halftime, but only ended up at 45-10. Just wondering if our scoreboard needs to accommodate triple digits.

Probably the opposite, but I'm trying to use my brain instead of listening to gut feeling. I followed The YSU and SIU games, and some of the Missouri State game, and I don't think NDSU's performance vs Missouri State was enough to show that NDSU was BACK (to normal). Way too many 3 and outs, and the TD before half shouldn't have been allowed by any team in the country, given the circumstances of that play. Missouri State is hands down the second worst team in the conference right? Just don't think that's enough to prove anything after NDSU's first two games. Of course I have this feeling of impending doom in regard to NDSU coming back and dominating per usual, but the performances so far this year tell me otherwise.

I wouldn't worry about that. Bubba is pretty conservative and it is pretty rare for us to blow anyone out. He will want to get our backup QB some snaps IF there is the opportunity, and there is no way in hell I could see Bubba wanting him to sling the ball around. IF we are up a lot, I would think he'd also want the guys to rest up before the NDSU game. Most of us UND fans just hope we win.

Actually, I think the rest of the MVFC might smell a little blood in the water after the SIU game. The intimidation factor may not be what it used to be.
