Cesar Barajas was named the Louisiana Sports Writers Association Special Teams Player of the Week. Barajas made the game-winning 41-yard field goal in in the 24-21 victory over Alabama State. Barajas was one-of-one on field goals in the game and was perfect in extra point attempts against the Hornets, making all three point after kicks. Barajas also punted the ball four times for an average of 45.8 yards against ASU, including a 52 yard punt, and placed three punts inside the ASU 20
