Thought this would happen. Transitions to other conferences and creating new ones is never easy. But glad to at least have a chance at post-season after this past year.

I can see either UCA, JSU, SHSU, or SFA squeaking by with an autobid. Don't think there will be a conference trophy. xlolx

Sam Houston State has an impressive 10-game slate (curious if they add an 11th) with the AQ7, Dixie State, Tarleton State, SE Missouri and Northern Arizona.

Home games of note from the non-traditional list of opponents are SEMO, Jax State and EKU. As a fan of FCS football, that's an exciting lineup.

*-Games involving Dixie State and Tarleton will not count toward alliance win percentage

Maybe there will be one called the WAC/asun on, wac/ASUN off trophy.

The team with the highest winning percentage among AQ7 games shall receive the automatic qualification to the FCS playoffs. In addition, a trophy will be presented to the conference that has the highest winning percentage against the other conference.

I don't think Dixie State is going to be the push over in the WAC that some might have thought.

DIXIE STATE: 26 (1-0)
#21 TARLETON STATE: 14 (1-2)
FINAL

These two WAC schools both are former Division II programs, just that one (Tarleton State) was a powerhouse in division II, going 22-2 in the last two seasons.

Dixie State just keeps improving over the last few seasons.

Having a 6-7; 230 transfer QB from BYU doesn't hurt as they begin this new era of Division I football.

2020: 1-0
2019: 8-3
2018: 7-4
2017: 5-6

They get New Mexico State next.
