High School: 2005 graduate of Vestavia Hills (6A) High School...football coach was Buddy Anderson...played offensive tackle...earned first team Super All-State, All-Metro, and All Over-the-Mountain honors after leading his squad to an 8-3 record and state playoff appearance...squad finished fifth in the state in the final regular season poll...also competed in track & field...was also recruited by Mississippi, UAB, and Wofford.
