There is no one listed of the current teams playing fall football, that the WCU football team could come close to beating, so make your selections with that in mind. Every year WCU fans have hope, then we play a game and realize nothing has changed in Cullowhee and Speir has 4 more years on a contract the school can not afford to buy out. I'm almost ready to give up after 40 plus years of hoping, I don't see a change in my remaining life time.

UIW went 5-7 last season with road wins over #25 HBU and #23 Southeastern Louisiana and almost beat #24 Nicholls 23-27 loss.

They started the FCS season 5-1 and then the wheels came off, losing 5 straight to finish the season, so they are currently on a 5 game losing streak.

In 2018 they had the best season in their young program’s history going 6-5 with wins over #6 McNeese, #21 Sam Houston State, and at Central Arkansas for a share of the SLC Title and their first trip to the playoffs.

Head Coach Eric Morris has done an amazing job there, and he does it with high school recruits, not many if any FBS transfers on the roster.

Yea, I had them in a couple of my polls in 2019, around that 24/25 area and then dropped them when the wheels came off.

NDSU beat Central Arkansas.

NDSU beat Central Arkansas.

It doesn't impact my ranking, but the argument could be made that the close game in Fargo makes the head-to-head essentially a wash with respect to rankings and likewise that UCA has a stronger overall resume than NDSU (in some individuals' opinions).

Daytripper had the same exact rankings last week with the exception of reversing SIU and SFA this week.

NDSU beat Central Arkansas.

I think UCA beats them if they play today. They have more game experience and Bison have no Trey Lance.
