As the summer sizzles, player transfer talk seems to catch many eyes from all corners of the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS), but in the Southland Conference, each team has some homegrown talent that will move into their sophomore year that will be worth keeping tabs on this forthcoming season and for the seasons to come.

Any thoughts on this column? Was this topic just not what SLC fans were looking for?

i personally thought the article was good, but kind of "dry." just "Fact, fact, fact, conservative prediction, fact, fact, fact." i personally like the articles that make some logical yet bold predictions and goes beyond just discussing the surface issues.

however, i do realize that such an article would probably be PAGES long and boring for most to read. ha, just goes to show you how different we (in the sports forum world) are.

I'm one to read those lengthy articles. Unfortunately, I do not think that's the medium that people are looking for on College Sporting News.

Any suggestions for a future column? I've already drawn out one for July pending breaking news -- though I was thinking of doing two for July because it's the month before everything starts happening (August) as far as the world of football goes.
