Man this is much more lowkeyed than what we're accustomed too... we haven't had anyone this "close to the vest" since Coach Legend. Not saying this guy is an Eddie Rob but the media approach is the same (although Rob was such a qifted orator and could capture an audience). Coach Rob always downplayed the team (publicly) and now seems that Coach Rod is doing the same thing!

I think that is a good way for a coach to be in the media. I hope he does big things at Gram (execpt in late November xlolx )

I knew Rod Broadway when he played his senior year at West Stanly High School and followed his career at UNC, Duke, Fla State, and NCCU. Grambling has a talented intelligent gentleman at their helm. Best wishes to Rod and Grambling!!!xthumbsupx
He knows he has a lot of work to do and he will accomplish what it takes to bring Grambling back.

Thats one year! Before that they were Champions of the SWAC and Co-HBCU National Champions along with Hampton. They've won SWAC Championships in 2000,2001,2002,and 2005, so where did they go?

3-8 ain't the Grambling I recall. Being co anything with Hampton isn't a great honor. Hampton folds like a cheap umbrella in a windstorm when they hit the FCS play-offs.
Broadway will bring Grambling into something that will make alumni remember the days of old.

They had a bad year last year, Grambling is still Grambling! They're still the Notre Dame of Black College Football. They have 4 Conference Championships in the 2000s and 3 Black College National Championships in the 2000s. Grambling hasnt left and went anywhere!

You insult Grambling. Notre Dame hasn't won anything in the 2000s.

Other than a couple of years when Coach Rob was finishing his career, Gram has always been a solid program. They haven't been close to being down and out.
