”Ingram was one of a string of preferred walk-on recruits to Cincinnati”

Don’t think walk-on’s actually sign LOI’s, but whatever; just always good to get the full perspective of a story.

Best of luck to the young man. Hope he has an amazing athletic career & exceptional academic success @ Ark-PB

If the writer were more qualified why didnt he include the pertinent facts? Walk-on at Cincy. Did he receive any money to attend AR-PB?

AR-Pine Bluff is a **** hole BTW.

Yeah... We figured that one out in 2018.

UAPB is a **** hole? Where? How?

I always thoroughly enjoyed myself when I visited there. Very friendly and welcoming people, for the most part. They have a decently good stadium, as well.

Looks like a nice venue to me. Better than several in the SoCon. Not a 1/2-a-Stadium (CIT), no track around it (VMI), doesn’t look high schoolish (Samford & Wofford).

Considering the agenda of the op why are actual facts being questioned?

All for show...

Do preferred walk-ons sign on signing day?Technically, preferred walk-ons don’t have anything to sign on Signing Day, as they aren’t receiving an athletic scholarship. However, walk-ons are an essential part of a successful team, and college coaches want to celebrate their signing, as well. Ask your future coach about having something to sign, especially if your school is throwing a Signing day party. Don’t forget to rep your new school with some gear!

Good for UAPB and to the player. I don't get the hate for them. If I lived in SE Arkansas that is probably the team I'd root for.

Not football, but I recently saw where Howard signed a 5 star prospect for basketball which was pretty awesome to see.

It looks like the player wanted an FBS offer. When he didn't get it, he accepted a preferred walk-on spot at Cincy. It seems that he realized that FCS is still football and decided he wanted to go somewhere where he would actually get to play.

That and he’s probably getting at least a partial scholarship. If he can make the 2 deep roster and perhaps start at QB, he’s going to get bumped up to a full ride on the athletic side.

It makes sense all the way around, event though he is leaving the state of Ohio.
