Over an opponent?

While looking up some data to dis dbackjon, I was shocked to learn the Griz have beaten NAU 18 of the past 19 times, with the only blemish being in 1997. That got me to thinking....what's your school's longest active win streak.....

I think UM's is 12 right now, against Sac State (12-0 overall). xthumbsupx xthumbsupx xthumbsupx

Delaware is 41-6-1 against Chest Wester.

The Hens have won 13 straight and 16 of the last 17.

God I hope they end this series sometime in the near future. xnonono2x

We've got 7 straight on Sac State. Last fall's game was closer than usual though, mainly cause our offense didn't fire that well. CSUS has got a pretty good defense, but nooooo O. Hopefully this fella coming into Sac from Foothill can get the offense clicking for a better Causeway in 2007. A lot of CSUS guys left the program however after Moosh was let go. We'll see if 8 straight is Aggie desitiny or not this year.

Against a single team:

We have a 3 game winning streak vs Appalachian State....And apparently it will stay that way until we schedule the "return trip" to Boone, NC...

That may take a while... xrolleyesx

Others of note:

3 vs Deleware State
3 vs Southern

Unless you factor in the current 6 game streak we have vs Delta State (Division II I believe)....that's all I can think of...

Of course....it's hard to maintain a decent streak in the Southland these days (Note our 3 longest streaks are OOC)...

VMI: 20 in a row
Chattanooga: 12 in a row

Yeah, but we may be the ONLY OOC fans that can pronounce Natchitoches properly. Just don't ask me to spell it. And, come to think of it, I can't wait for you all to visit Boone either.

Lehigh's current longest win streak against current opponents is Bucknell with 9 straight wins going back to 1998 AND Fordham at nine straight, also. The streak over Fordham began after a Fordham win in overtime in 1997. Before then, Lehigh had won eleven straight over the Ram. But for the 1997 loss, the streak would be at 21. Lehigh holds series lead over Fordham at 20-1.

I don't even have the slightest clue which team we have the longest streak with. Maybe Weber St.? Help me out GoKats......

Some interesting streaks for Portland State going into this season. Since moving up to I-AA/FCS, PSU has never beaten Montana in Missoula. During that stretch, PSU is 7-1 against the Southland conference. PSU is also 1-0 against the Mountain West conference.

Our 27-game home winning streak that goes back to 2002. Second in the nation to SoCal (32)

Harvard's longest current Ivy League winning streak is against Brown, believe it or not: 7 straight.

Harvard's longest current OOC win streaks are against Lafayette (6 games) and Holy Cross (5).

They played in the Rose Bowl. That is UCLA's home. USC plays in the LA Coliseum.

No one retains a win streak against UC Davis for very long but I think the best is probably Portland State at 5 games. This will be a tough away game and will have a big impact on any playoff hopes for both teams.

I can't find my media guide to verify, but I think Wofford's longest current win streak is Charleston Southern (about 9 games), but that series has been off and on. Longest continuously played win streak is against The Citadel (8 games).

Their Pac 10 winning streak was broken by Oregon State earlier in the year at Corvallis.

USC is 59-6 over the last 5 years. Pretty amazing when you consider their schedule.

Nice work! I was going to say Weber State - forgot all about Morningside and never even knew about Jamestown College. NDSU has really had the University of South Dakota's number though... 15-1 in the last 16 games (and still managed to score 37 in that one loss).

Addition: Longest losing streak is to the University of Minnesota (5 games). In the FCS, Montana State, Southern Illinois and Jacksonville State all have two game win streaks over NDSU. Arch-rival University of North Dakota has a three-game win streak.

Albany's 8-0 vs. St. Francis PA, last 6 vs. Wagner, last 5 vs. Sacred Heart.

9-0 vs. teams currently or formerly of the MAAC

One game (can one game be a streak?) against the A-10 in its last season.
