The departing MEAC train out of Florida might have another program on board.

The Bethune-Cookman University Board of Trustees held an emergency meeting on Thursday in which the topic of its athletic conference affiliation was discussed, according to multiple sources, including the possibility of leaving the MEAC.

Hearing SWAC or A-Sun ...More to come

BCU would be a good geographic fit in the A-Sun which already has 4 schools in Florida. I they went that route, football would go to the Big South, which is rapidly going from too small top too big.
The SWAC has the HBCU draw, but travel wound be very expensive.

Maybe the CAA, Big South, will break apart and there will be 3 conferences that form out of those 2. A northern "CAA" conference, a Mid-Atlantic conference, and a "Big South" conference.

The ASUN and Big South in football would be perfect for BCU. They would get Hampton and NCAT in football with local basketball and baseball.
