Just saw this in the UNH notes section of the New Hampshire Union Leader. He had surgery this week to remove a tumor, he appears well on his way to a full recovery.
He underwent surgery to remove a brain tumor on Tuesday at Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston. The surgery went very well, Scarano said Thursday morning, shortly before leaving the hospital for home. The tumor was outside his brain and benign, Scarano said. He expects to be back at work within the next couple of weeks.
