Do you have alcohol sales at your tailgaters? How about inside the stadiums?

Well, this just changed for the state of Idaho. Hopefully, this can lead to something good.

We've had stadium alcohol sales for years. It's a way of life in these parts.

That's the way it should be. Amongst the most fun I've ever had at a college sporting event was at an LSU-U. of New Orleans baseball game in New Orleans in 2009 where the beer was flowing.

Pretty sure I was there that night watching DJ LaMahieu and Jared Mitchell for LSU. Ugly game but good atmosphere as usual when LSU plays in-state schools on the road.

No criticism to any religions, but the state of Idaho is highly influenced by the Mormon Church. Maybe some of the influence is waning. It should be of no surprise that the state of Idaho is coming into the 20th century.

Tailgates yes - Inside stadium no (unless your belong to the Canyon Club or have a box) which is right behind our seats. Just love to look up at them enjoying a beer all game long but we can not. Ridiculous. Wife seems to think there is a law that does not allow up PEONS to be responsible like our well to do friends. Let me add that I did sneak a couple of beers in one time & the folks around us gave me this dirty look like look at the alcoholic who brought the beer in so I did not do it again & now they actually have security dudes that police the stadium looking for beer drinkers!

Sam Houston had just announced in February that alcohol would be available at softball and baseball this spring. Though it is not mentioned in the article, football and basketball would surely follow. https://gobearkats.com/news/2020/2/7/athletics-view-from-the-corner-office.aspx?fbclid=IwAR1-VP3QF-L-OfN-w-oiZaif_UYPR7avhOUZ2DCSTpt_wkpWLMsKexLtL0U

Yeah, just free revenue and the cops should be happy since they get the details...not like its hard work. At least a fourth of the students are over 21 too...

ISUr just started allowing it in stadium this past year ... nobody died ... so we'll do it again next year.

Or it could be like Disney or Cruise ships thing, where they never let any be declared dead on site.
