SHSU quarterbacks make passing adjustments

For the second day in a row, the Sam Houston State football team was running around on the grass at Holleman Field, the former baseball home of the Bearkat. With temperatures climbing into the high 90s Saturday afternoon, the move to the much cooler grass surface was once again a welcome change for the Kats.
The ground isn't nearly as hot as the AstroTurf at Bowers Stadium and the wind is usually always blowing on the baseball field, a welcome addition to fall camp.
But the wind also serves another purpose for the Bearkats, and the quarterbacks in particular. When the wind blows at Bowers Stadium, it is either coming in from the north end zone or heading out. Rarely is there a cross wind.
