2005: Appeared in four games ... made only catch of the season in regular-season finale at Elon, a career-long 19-yarder ... always a fan favorite at home, was also the object of affection at LSU, where Tiger fans began chanting his name in the fourth quarter ... a huge ovation erupted when Norman took the field at Tiger Stadium and he also received a standing ovation when leaving the field.

2004: Appeared in two games ... made first collegiate catch — a 10-yarder — in win over Elon ... also participated in 38-17 victory over No. 5 Wofford.

2003: Redshirted.

High School: Helped send nearby Watauga High School to first state playoff appearance in 21 years by leading the Pioneers with 21 receptions and 315 receiving yards in 2002... garnered all-Northwest 4A Conference accolades ... tallied 37 receptions for 465 yards and eight touchdowns over prep career ... coached by Mike Hudson ... also earned a pair of varsity letters in basketball.

Personal: Full name is James Robert Norman ... born July 2, 1984 (22 years old) ... son of Teresa and Dan Norman ... majoring in industrial technology ... has been a member of ASU’s academic honor roll.

Bowling Green: Saw limited action as a sophomore.

Junior College: He played one season at Long Beach City College and passed for 1,790 yards and 11 touchdowns.

High School: He prepped at St. Mary's College High School, where he passed for 1,200 yards and 11 touchdowns as a senior..voted offensive MVP and “Best Back” his senior season.

Personal: His major is sociology. Jason's parents are Carl and Charlene Washington of Berkeley, California. Birth date: August 16, 1983. His uncle is former NFL great Gene Washington.

He's also VERY involved in the community, a true role model!!!

injured in pre-season practice last season, will see lots of playing time. Has the ability and speed to play WR also. Remember his name, Alex Sellars.
