"Missouri offensive line transfer Aaron Saunders was at practice for the first time Friday morning wearing an SHSU T-shirt and shorts. Saunders (6-7, 305 pounds) has not yet been cleared to participate, but Whitten hopes he will be on the field for the first two-a-day workout today.
Also expected to begin practice today is another transfer from Missouri. John Dirk, the son of current defensive coordinator Duane Dirk. John (6-3, 280) was listed at No. 2 on the depth chart at center after redshirting last season."
