GRAND FORKS, N.D.-- A third-period goal by freshman Shane Pinto and a 25-save shutout from junior Peter Thome boosted second-ranked North Dakota to a 1-0 win Friday night at Ralph Engelstad Arena in National Collegiate Hockey Conference action. It marked the second 1-0 victory of the season for UND as it notched its 20th win this year.
