Congratulations. Would've like to have seen Carter win it, but have no heartburn with this choice.

If you ever watched him play you know Dante deserves this award. There was rarely a play where he wasn’t in on the tackle.

The guy really is extraordinary and most deserving. Quite a combo of size, instincts, and athleticism. To top it off he is a genuinely generous and nice young man. Very happy for him!

Dante ends an unreal career at Montana with the award for nations best defensive player.

He becomes the 3rd Griz to have won this award.

That is a nice, brief, video. It gives a pretty good feel for the way Dante plays.
Anyone who is unfamiliar with his game give it a click. It's two minutes well spent.

Agreed, thought Dante should have been celebrating his second award this year. Nonetheless, well deserved for an all-time Griz great linebacker (and that's saying something!).
