The 2019-20 Indoor Track & Field season got off to a roaring start for Columbia Track & Field as the Lions took eight first place finishes, with first-year Tessa Green (60m), sophomores Lauren Micham (60m H), Jackie Patterson (1,000m) and junior Terri Turner (One-Mile) all locking up wins for the women and sophomore Brodie Holmes (60m) along with juniors Jackson Storey (1,000m), Noah Johnson (Shot Put) and Jack Pihlkar (Weight Throw) finishing first for the Lion men in a solid first day of the 2019-20 season at the Metro Season Opener on Friday, Dec. 6 at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex.
