At the half, CCSU has allowed RMU just 76 total yards and 2 first downs - but the Colonials still have 2 TDS.

Conditions are not conductive to passing, as CCSU is just 2 for 7 for 13 yards, but the Blue Devils already have 211 yards rushing.

ISUr up 14-9 ... QB Davis left game with undisclosed leg injury ... well, we don't have a real 2nd string QB. So we bring in RS FR dual threat QB who was supposedly demoted to 3rd string a week ago behind a true FR pocket QB ... so what do we call on 1st play with previously demoted dual threat QB who had no time to warm up ... we throw a pass that gets picked. Next series, we bench him and brings our true FR pocket QB to do nothing but hand off.

Not looking too promising at moment up 14-9. Davis just came out of locker room with bigger brace on his knee .. not yet in game.

Robinson (29 carries for 155 yards) was his usual self , except our 2nd string RB Proctor also went down early in Q3 ..so Robinson was all we had going against their 8 or 9 in the box on every play. Defense was just ok but made many huge plays with key sacks or pass breakups.

Not pretty .. this one goes down as a win is a win. But revealed what most teams already knew, we have no depth at QB position .. yet sit here 8-3 with good chance of going 9-3.

The thing is, our "best" RBs are supposedly Freshman this year. IMO, this is how I'd rank them:

Wilson/Brooks
Johnson/Bussey/Clark

Those "bottom 3" will tear up the FCS for the next few years.

Williams (I think he is more of a slot back so I wouldn't necessarily classify him as a RB, even though he is)
