Perhaps they should check under the giant belly-fat rolls.

Loks like those two were on the Krispy Kreme diet this offseason.

I had the feeling this picture might end up here--why did it have to be from Umass

Hopefully those new t-shirts are comfortable because they are darn embarrassing on some of the players.

Cosmo,
The S&C dept has done a nice job with all the athletes. The right side of our line will be the biggest with our RG 6-4,315 and our RT 6-6,295. I am looking foward to the season getting under way.

We'll have some serious "tonage" on our right side as well. Our right guard is 6-6, 365 and our right tackle is 6-6, 342. It's amazing how much bigger players are these days.

Biggest line I ever saw was Jackson State in '96 when they came in for first round of playoffs. Averaged about 335. They were overmatched.

No doubt you can be TOO BIG and in most cases at this level, linemen that size are grossly out of shape. Our guard that is 365 could obviously stand to lose 20 or 25 pounds but he has very good feet and is good in pass protection. Our right tackle is simply a HUGE guy and carries the weight well.

We will see how good of feet they have when you come to Huntsvegas this year. :D Can wait for SE La to finally visit again.

I'm sure they're feet will be the same in "Huntsvegas" as they are in Hammond. ;)

I hope to make the trip but I'll be on call most weekends this fall and it may cut into my away travel substantially :bang:

Does anyone else love to see early camp pictures that show the football helmets with no decals? That brings back some powerful memories for me - both high school and college.

I like it when they write the last name on masking tape and slap on your helmet. That's when you know your no longer in the small pond...

I was thinking the same thing. Here's one from Southeast Missouri State. We're all anxious to see what the new logo looks like since this is the first season with the new nickname (was "Indians" now "Redhawks")http://www.tigerboard.com/userimages/img_4135-lg.jpg
